Road Opening of Farm to Market Road

Hon Ericson J Sulibit, LTC LAWRENCE CARREON, COL RODEL MAURO R ALARCON, BGEN ROMEO G GAN AFP and other Local Government Officials of Liliw during the Ground Breaking Ceremony.Camp Capinpin Tanay, Rizal - a significant event was made possible with the partnership of the 202nd (Unifier) Brigade, 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division, Phil Army and the Local Government Unit of Liliw, Laguna. A Memorandum of Partnership Agreement was signed between Col. Rodel Mauro R Alarcon, the Commanding Officer of 202nd Infantry and Hon Ericson J Sulibit, Mayor Of Liliw , Laguna. This was done in the presence of 564 Engineering Construction Battalion led by LTC LAWRENCE CARREON, 2nd Infantry Division led by the newly installed Commander, BGEN ROMEO G GAN AFP, and Three Barangay Captains of Brgy Loquin, Ibabang Taykin and Ilayang Taykin of Liliw, Laguna. The said MOPA was signed signaling the development of a farm to market road to be constructed in the area. As BGEN ROMEO G GAN AFP specified in his message during the program “Ang kaunlaran ay makakamit kung may kapayapaan, ang kapayapaan Ay siyang daan tungo sa kaunlaran. Sa makatuwid, ang kapayapaan at kaunlaran ay makakamtan sa pamamagitan ng ating BAYANIHAN”. After the signing of the Memorandum of Partnership was the Ground Breaking Ceremony which highlighted the sinking of the time capsule spearheaded by Hon Sulibit, 202nd Brigade Commander COL ALARCON and 2nd Infantry Division Commander, BGEN GAN. The Farm to Market Road that will ease the burden of our farmers will stretch as far as four (4) kilometers covering the Barangays of Ilayang Taykin, Loquin and Ibabang Taykin. To ensure a strong and efficient partnership, the Municipal Government of Liliw, personnel of 564 ECB, 51 EBDE PA, personnel from 202 Bde, 2ID, PA will be involved in the accomplishment of the project covering tasks such as supply matters, manpower and security in the area.
