Province of Rizal now takes the lead in its socio-economic programs

CAMP GEN MATEO CAPINPIN, Tanay, Rizal – With the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the Province of Rizal will now take the lead in its economic programs with the support of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
The said undertaking was made shortly after the signing of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) Resolution declaring the Province of Rizal as Conflict Manageable and Ready for Further Development effective June 4, 2015.
In a formal ceremony on July 6, 2015 at 2:00pm held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Ynares Center Complex, Antipolo City, Rizal, Hon Rebecca Ynares, Governor, Province of Rizal thanked the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), other stakeholders, and the constituents of Rizal in promoting peace and development in the province.
During the Symbolic Signing of MOU, Gov Ynares further stressed the importance of the activity. “We will affix our signature to ensure that all parties concerned shall be united and undertake the responsibility in sustaining our Internal Peace and Security Operations (IPSO) in the province,” said Gov Ynares.
On the same manner, Gen Gregorio Pio P Catapang Jr AFP, Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines who was represented by Lt Gen Ricardo R Visaya AFP, Commander, Southern Luzon Command expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Government Officials and the residents of Rizal for their active involvement and participation in sustaining peace and development within their province.
Right after the symbolic signing, MGen Romeo G Gan AFP , Commander, 2ID gave a miniature of Gen Mateo Capinpin as a token of appreciation to Gov Ynares for the excellent efforts and participation of the Province of Rizal in degrading the armed capability of the New People’s Army, and in advocating peace and development.
