CAMP GEN MATEO CAPINPIN, Tanay, Rizal — The Office of The Inspector General (OTIG) composed of six Officers and nine Enlisted Personnel headed by BGen Elmer C Pabale AFP visited the Headquarters, 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division to conduct an Annual General Inspection on March 05, 2015.
The said inspection which started at 9:00am aimed to assess the 2ID’s performance of mission and operational readiness, efficiency in utilizing resources, competence in personnel management, state of morale of its Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Civilian Employees to include the professionalism and discipline in compliance to CG, PA’s guidance.
An information briefing was prepared and presented by LTC Dennis C Perez GSC (Inf) PA, the Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, 2ID. This was followed by a message from the Assistant Division Commander for Admin and Logistics, 2ID, who represented the Commander, 2ID.
“As it sustains efficacy in its [2ID] campaign, a check and balance must always be considered. With this, we can upgrade and develop what we already have for us to level-up and have not just a better approach but the best approach with the best results,” said BGen Reyes during his message.
On the other hand, BGen Pabale recognizes the efforts of 2ID in attaining its mission of sustaining peace and development in its AOR and encourages everyone to continuously adhere with the IPSP Bayanihan and ATR Imperatives.
The said activity was attended by the Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Civilian Employees of 2ID. Among the Officers present are: Col Reynaldo Celso A Lanuzo GSC (Inf) PA, Inspector General; Col Rolando C Manalo GSC (Inf) PA, Chief of Staff; Col Jose Augusto V Villareal GSC (Inf) PA, CO, DTS; G – Staffs and Post Unit Commanders.
Likewise, prior to the activity, BGen Pabale was tendered with Military honors.
