201st Brigade engages Former Rebels
— 201st Infantry Brigade under Colonel Rhoderick M Parayno holds the 1st Quarterly Meeting and Post Christmas Party Celebration which was attended with 35 Officers and members of “KAAKIBAT” organization (Former Rebels) led by Mr. Franklin Barrera, President held at Headquarters, 85th Infantry Battalion, Barangay Villa Principe, Gumaca, Quezon on February 7, 2015.
Cpt Benjamin Tomboc, 201st Brigade CMO Officer warmly welcome all the attendees followed by an update briefing presentation of two CMO Officers of 85thInfantry Battalion and 74th Infantry Battalion.
The said activity was also graced by Engr. Victor Rowell Radovan, Focal Person, PPOC, representative of Governor David “Jay-Jay” Suarez of Quezon, LGU’s and PESO of Gumaca headed by Mr. Jack Nicolas, Manager of PESO and Commanding Officers of 74IB and 85IB.
The activity is a quarterly event being conducted to update and monitor the status of the members and the projects and programs in coordination with local government units in the area. Likewise, to strengthen the camaraderie among its members for a better organization as show window of their remaining comrades to induce them to go back to the folds of the law and live normal lives.
Mr. Nicolas presented the livelihood projects and programs of their office to help the Former Rebels for their daily needs.
In his message, Colonel Parayno encouraged the newly-elected officers to spearhead any programs and projects to propel the organization in pursuit for peace and development in collaboration with the Local units in the area. He assured that 201st Brigade will always ion their side to support them.
Meanwhile, Engr. Radovan explained progressively the programs and projects of the Provincial Office and their accomplishment.
The event was highlighted with the giving of 12-sacks of goods and Raffle Draw of three appliances (two Stand Fans and one Washing Machine) donated by Governor Suarez.
